The Resource Library at All Saints

Membership of the library is open to anyone. Here are a few things you need to know about using the library.

Opening hours

The library is open Monday to Saturday, 10am to 4pm excluding bank holidays.

Because the library is in the main body of the church, we will need to close it when there are day-time services, such as funerals, school services etc. These times of closure will be shown on this page, so it's a good idea to check here before you plan a visit.

Known times of closure or restricted access

  • Saturday 24th October from 3pm

Access to the library

The library is behind the organ area in the main body of the church. The books are situated on a raised platform area, which requires a step of 6 inches. There are no steps prior to reaching the library area.

The photo below show the library area.

If you were a member of the Diocesan Resource Library, you will need to join the 'Resource Library at All Saints' and be issued with a new membership card. You will use your membership number when you sign books out of the library.

We are running the library with volunteer help and we are asking for a voluntary donation of £5 when you first become a member. Your use of the library is in no way dependent on this donation, it will simply help us to maintain the library and refresh the stock.

To apply for membership, you can either pick-up a form from the library or fill this online form.

When your membership card is ready for you, you can collect it from the library area.

The details you provide on the membership form will be stored by us in accordance with our data protection policy.
