Confirmation marks the point in the Christian journey at which you affirm for yourself the faith into which you have been baptised and your intention to live a life of committed discipleship.
Both children and adults are very welcome to be confirmed into the Church in All Saints’. Confirmation classes are offered by the ministry team in preparation for this important event, and timings vary according to demand. Please contact the Vicar if you would like to discuss further or take part in classes.
Communion before Confirmation
All Saints’ Church offers children the opportunity to receive communion before confirmation. This follows a ten week course for children over the age of seven where they will discover more about God’s love and what church and Holy Communion are about. This includes sessions on prayer, the Bible, Jesus, God and the Holy Spirit and what sacraments are.
It is hoped that young people then go on to be confirmed when they are ready, rather than at a prescribed time.
Please contact our Vicar, Revd Beverly Watson if you would like more information.
