Choir

The Choir at All Saints’ is a robed, mixed-voice group of adult singers, which sings three times per month at the 10.00 a.m. communion service, and at various special services such as the Patronal Festival Evensong, the Christmas Nine Lessons and Carols, and joint services with St Nicolas’ Church and the United Reformed Church in Guildford.

The choir is always keen to expand and so welcomes committed new singers at any time – just come along to a rehearsal and see where it takes you! We are also developing a children’s choir to sing both separately and together with the adult choir.

The choir sings a broad range of music from the Anglican choral tradition and beyond, from Tallis to Rutter, Purcell to Tchaikovsky, Pitoni to Fauré. Rehearsals, which take place in church on the first three Thursday evenings of the month, 8.00 p.m.- 9.00 p.m. combine choral training with learning and enjoying music, new and old.

The choir is available to sing for weddings, baptisms, funerals and other special services held in All Saints’ Church. Please contact the office for further information.
