All Saints is a family church within close walking distance of the University (see map). Whether you have been studying in Guildford for a few years or are a fresher, we would love you to join us.
We have a wide variety of people in our congregation; students, young professionals, families and retired people, all worshipping together. You would be warmly welcomed and it would be good to meet you and have a chat over coffee after the main Sunday morning service.
We have a range of services, offering different styles of worship. On one Sunday a month we have a cafe-style Altogether service, where our sung worship is led by a band, and on two Sundays a month by our choir, when we also celebrate communion. We offer two choral scholarships and they're taken up by two university students each year.
There is a Young Adults group with a mixture of students and young professionals. The purpose of the group is to maintain and develop the bond between the young people and the connection at All Saints’ Church, help to provide pastoral care as they journey through life and provide a space where they can grow their faith. The group meets frequently with various sessions in place including monthly zoom meetings and an 'Open House', both providing an opportunity to catch-up with each other and also three yearly onsite church events including a Christmas Do, an Easter Lunch and a Summer BBQ. So whether or not you join us on a Sunday, you are welcome to join the group.
If you are an international student, a Friends International’s ladies group called “Rendezvous” meet regularly at the Vicarage.
There is lots of opportunity to get involved and also volunteer, for example helping with the various social events we put on during the year.
