We have launched a new men’s group called Beer and Belief. It is open to all men 18 years and over.
Its mission to the men of this parish and wider, is simple: "to provide a space for all men to meet and to introduce them, through conversation and encounters with God, to faith”.
We meet in a friendly open environment at the Astolat pub within our parish to discuss a topic. There is a short talk on a topic of faith, and then the opportunity to discuss it and widen it to anything else that is on our minds. We have varied the meeting days, as we know people cannot make certain days, so this makes sure there is time for everyone. Our dates and topics for this year are:
- Monday 12th October : Rule of Life Part 2
- Tuesday 17th November : Dan’s Pilgrimage
- Wednesday 23d December : Keeping a Journal
Our meeting times are 7:30pm for 8:00pm until 10pm.
